Maranello Horses

This Saturday was the day for the yearly Scandinavian Ferrari Challenge at Alastaro. Of course I, Juha, Mika and Juhas dad were there. You just can't miss the opportunity to see a Ferrari supported by our company lapping with other horses of Maranello.

"Our" car was the fastest in the qualifying and therefore started at the pole position. During the race, two competitors passed by but Esa was able to take the second place in the end. Right after the race, we went to chat with him to Parc Ferme area and heard that the second place was due to a hydraulic problems that caused gears to stuck on few occasions. Great race all the together and we're proud to see our company colors in the car.

There was also a Ferrari FXX. This is a car that makes Ferrari Enzo look like a serial production vehicle, 400 Enzos compared to 29 FXXs. The FXX has a 6,3 litre V12 with 680 horsepower. The price is about 3 million euros. The car even made a show run but it ended even before it really got started by some technical difficulty... italian supercars... ;)

There were also a few Nascars present and a dragster that made a few passanger runs. All good fun, I might even try the dragster some day.
