Eurovision weekend
So a busy Eurovision and ice hockey worldchampionship weekend is behind us. In Eurovision song contest, we were 17. and in ice hockey 2. So I'd say that in total the performace was fair.
On Friday, we opened the our balcony season by cleaning the balcony and eating there with some Prosecco wine. The weather was a bit on the cold side (maybe 13C) but it was nothing that a warm pullover couldn't manage ;P
Saturday morning we headed for Hämeenkylä mansion. There was a BMW testdrive event that we got invited to. I guess it was because we have a fairly new Audi and beemer wanted to show their fleet. Anyhow, we registered there and signed up to drive a brand new BMW 750i (price around 130.000 euros) that was "a pretty big boy". I have to admit that it took a while to get the car moving since there was so much electrics and computers onboard. Once we were moving everything was simple. The car is totally isolated from the surrounding enviroment, there is no wind, tire or engine noise in the cabin. Only slight hum when I floored the gas pedal on Kehä III to see what that 5.0 liter V8 has to offer. In short, an excellent executive shuttle, but I like to be more connected with the car and the road.
Later that day we went to Iina and Osku to go to sauna and see the Eurovision... and of course have some refreshments ;)
Sunday was mothers day so we visit my mom and dad. I wonderful weekend in total.
